Re: Logging daemon with ISO8601 filenames
Personally I admit that I use the -tt option with svlogd to get human
readable timestamps in my logs. I've never bothered trying to interpret the
file names, they sort well and I have system timestamps. Using the names as
timestamps has honestly never come up.
However, given that runit's svlogd has support for other formats it seems
like it would be easy to patch to change the filename format.
