Hi,

I would like to know if someone here has ever tried to put native or
startup services under perp supervision. I mean some services like dhcpd,
ftpd, ....

My question is because for this kind of service, there sometime is an
initd script, or the service is on a specific runlevel.

Are we obliged to remove the service from initd or the runlevel, to put it
under perp with rc.main and rc.log script? Or is it a way to supervise the
service without remove its initd script or from the runlevel services?

Hope my question is a litlle clear.

Thanks for your attention.

Eugene NG
